A Legendary Warship Turned Vantage Point
The camera is mounted on the USS Alabama (BB-60), a South Dakota-class battleship that earned nine battle stars in World War II before being saved by the citizens of Alabama and opened as a museum. From this commanding deck the lens looks out over the water toward the city.
