Masjid al-Haram Wide Courtyard View

What You'll See

This wide overhead camera looks down across the full Mataf plaza of Masjid al-Haram, capturing the black-draped Kaaba at the center of the frame with its gold-embroidered Kiswah band catching the light. Unlike a close-in angle, this vantage reveals the entire marble courtyard at once, with concentric rings of pilgrims in white ihram flowing around the sacred structure in continuous Tawaf.

About Masjid al-Haram

The Grand Mosque of Makkah is the largest mosque in the world and the most sacred site in Islam, built around the Kaaba, the direction Muslims worldwide face in prayer. Its soaring minarets and tiered arched colonnades frame a courtyard capable of holding millions of worshippers during the peak seasons of Hajj and Umrah.

Viewing Experience

The feed is part of an official Saudi broadcast of the Grand Mosque, paired with continuous Qur'an recitation, and gives remote viewers a rare bird's-eye perspective on the scale and constant motion of worship at Islam's holiest sanctuary.
