This camera sits at Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel, a Victorian clifftop property on the eastern edge of the Ventnor Undercliff. From its vantage point the lens sweeps across the water toward Sandown and Culver Down, taking in one of the most scenic stretches of the Isle of Wight's south coast.

The Ventnor Undercliff

Luccombe marks the eastern end of the Undercliff, a dramatic 7.5-mile landslip terrace running to Blackgang. The camera captures this unique coastal geology alongside the open waters of the Solent, where ferries and yachts pass along the shipping lanes toward the mainland.
