The Hochalm Slope and Cableway

The camera looks out over the Hochalm ski slope and the Hochalmbahn mountain railway, whose lines and pylons trace a path up the hillside toward the ridge. In the warmer months the piste becomes a vast green meadow, while in the cold season the same slope is groomed for skiers and snowboarders.

Saalbach-Hinterglemm and the Skicircus

Set at around 1,110 metres above sea level, the view belongs to Saalbach-Hinterglemm, heart of the Skicircus and one of the largest linked ski areas in the Alps, with more than 270 kilometres of interconnected runs reaching out across the surrounding valleys.

The Kitzbühel Alps of Pinzgau

Beyond the slope rise the wooded flanks and open pastures of the Kitzbühel Alps in the Pinzgau district. It is a landscape of dramatic peaks and green valleys that draws hikers and mountain bikers as readily as it does winter-sports enthusiasts.
