OnlineThis 4K live camera overlooks the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, a pair of vividly colourful seven-storey towers rising from the shore of Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung. Visitors enter through the dragon's mouth and exit through the tiger's, a ritual said to turn bad fortune into good. The reflective water, the surrounding temples and the distant city skyline make this one of Taiwan's most iconic scenes.

The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas
Built in 1976, these twin seven-storey towers are the signature landmark of Lotus Pond. Linked to the shore by the zig-zagging Nine-Turn Bridge, their walls are decorated with koji-pottery scenes drawn from moral tales, and the ornate dragon and tiger sculptures guard the entrance and exit.
A historic scenic area
Lotus Pond is one of Kaohsiung's most traditional districts, once counted among the Eight Sights of Fongshan. Pavilions, giant deity statues and the old city wall surround the water, while nearby Zuoying preserves historic temples, old streets and traditional markets.
What you can watch
The camera frames the illuminated pagodas, the lake's mirror-like surface and the lakeside promenade where locals stroll and cycle. In the background the Kaohsiung skyline completes a panorama that blends ancient symbolism with a modern city.
