Doplík Ski Lift
OnlineThis fixed camera looks up the Doplík slope at the Harrachov ski area, framing the drag-lift's bullwheel station against the forested ridgeline of the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) foothills. The gentle, open piste makes it a popular beginner run, and the wide clearing gives an unobstructed view across the whole slope from base to top.

A beginner slope in the Krkonoše foothills
The Doplík lift serves a short, gently pitched piste on the edge of Harrachov, a long-established resort town in the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) range near the Czech-Polish border. Its moderate grade and open, obstacle-free width make it a favourite training ground for first-time skiers and local ski schools.
The lift infrastructure
The camera frames the lift's bullwheel terminal in the foreground, the mechanical heart of the drag-lift that hauls skiers up the slope on a continuous cable loop. A small timber lodge at the slope's edge houses the lift operator's station and equipment.
Surrounded by spruce forest
Dense spruce forest frames both sides of the run, typical of the Krkonoše montane woodland that blankets this stretch of the Liberec Region. The tree line rises to a rounded ridge visible at the top of the frame, giving a sense of the wider mountain terrain beyond the piste itself.
A year-round vantage point
Because the fixed view spans the full length of the slope, it doubles as a general lookout over this corner of the resort in every season, from the ski runs of winter to the green hillside of summer.
