A Heritage Branch Line
The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is one of Britain's most celebrated heritage lines, threading five and a half miles through the Yorkshire Pennines between Keighley and Oxenhope. This camera watches the Damems passing loop, a double-track section that lets trains cross safely on the otherwise single line.
Damems Signal Box & Station
Looking north, the view stretches toward Damems Signal Box and the tiny Damems Station, long claimed as one of the smallest full-size stations in the country. The lever-operated box still controls the points that route trains through the loop.
A Timeless Pennine Setting
Gravel ballast, timber sleepers, and a scattering of lineside signage sit beneath hedge-lined embankments and rolling farmland. The unspoiled backdrop has made this stretch of line a favourite location for film and television productions set in earlier eras.
Steam and Heritage Diesel Traffic
Watch for preserved steam locomotives and vintage diesel multiple units running services along the branch, operated entirely by volunteers who keep this slice of British railway history running throughout the year.
