The brackish waters here shelter mangrove snapper, mojarra, and silvery baitfish that drift past the lens in shimmering schools. Patient viewers may spot blue crabs, the occasional juvenile barracuda, and the small invertebrates that make this mangrove-fringed lagoon a vital nursery.
