Craftsbury Outdoor Center Stadium

A Premier Outdoor Training Hub

The Craftsbury Outdoor Center is a nonprofit, member-supported facility in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom dedicated to human-powered sport. Best known for producing elite Nordic skiing and sculling athletes, the center also welcomes visitors drawn to its extensive trail network and quiet, unspoiled setting.

The Lower Stadium

This camera looks out from the Activity Center gymnasium across the lower stadium, the wide grassy expanse where trails converge for races, group starts, and community events. A paved loop and gravel path connect the stadium to the surrounding trail system, visible curving through the tree line toward the ridge.

Trails for Every Season

Beyond the stadium, dense stands of birch and conifer frame a network of trails used for Nordic skiing in winter and for running, rowing training, and hiking the rest of the year. The rolling terrain and mixed forest are characteristic of the wider Northeast Kingdom landscape.

Renewable Energy on Site

A ground-mounted solar array is visible along the access road, reflecting the center's commitment to sustainable operations. Combined with the surrounding meadows and woodland, it makes for a distinctive working landscape at the heart of the Craftsbury campus.
