Col del Pam Chairlift
OnlineThis live view looks out over the Col del Pam chairlift, a key lift serving the upper slopes of Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000 in the French Pyrenees. A glass-fronted lift station and a line of orange-padded pylons rise above an open alpine meadow, with the piste's marker poles tracing the run down toward the tree line. Dense pine forest frames the scene on every side, giving a constant window onto this high-altitude Catalan Pyrenees crossing.

A high lift on Col del Pam
The Col del Pam chairlift carries skiers and hikers up to over 2,100 meters, serving the upper terrain of Font-Romeu Pyrénées 2000, one of the highest and most established ski areas in the eastern Pyrenees. Its modern quad chairlift replaced an older lift in the mid-2000s, cutting queue times to the summit slopes.
Pistes and lift infrastructure
In view stand the glass-walled lift station, a small wooden operations hut, and a row of orange-padded pylons carrying the cable up the open meadow. Red-and-white marker poles trace the edge of the piste, guiding skiers in winter and walkers along the same corridor once the snow melts.
Font-Romeu, at the edge of the Cerdanya
The resort sits above Font-Romeu-Odeillo-Via in the Pyrénées-Orientales, long favored by Olympic athletes for its high-altitude air and famously abundant sunshine. Beyond the ridge, the terrain drops toward the wide Cerdanya plateau that straddles the French-Spanish border.
A year-round mountain crossing
Outside the ski season, the same slopes turn to green pasture for hikers and mountain bikers, while the chairlift and its pylons stand ready for the return of the snow. The camera offers a steady window onto this Catalan Pyrenees vantage point throughout the year.
