A Coastal Osprey Eyrie

Perched atop a dedicated platform above the tidal creeks near Fenwick Island, Delaware, this sprawling nest of driftwood and branches is home to a breeding pair of ospreys. Their eyrie sits close to Captain Mac's Fish House, overlooking the bayside waters they rely on for food.

Devoted Fishing Raptors

Ospreys are the only raptors that plunge feet-first into the water, using specialized talons to snatch live fish from just below the surface. This live nest camera captures the pair returning again and again to feed and defend their growing family.

A Monogamous Partnership

The breeding pair returns to this same nest, sharing incubation duties and cooperating closely to raise their chicks. Their fierce loyalty to both mate and nest makes this one of the more compelling raptor cams to follow.
