The Busteni-Babele Cable Car
One of Romania's most celebrated mountain lifts, the telecabina climbs from the resort town of Busteni to the Babele plateau, lifting hikers, skiers and sightseers over a dramatic vertical rise into the heart of the Bucegi Mountains.
Gateway to the Bucegi Plateau
From the upper terminus, trails fan out to the famous Babele and Sphinx rock formations and the Caraiman Cross. This lower station marks the start of that ascent, where cabins are loaded for the journey across the Prahova Valley.
A Year-Round Mountain Hub
