A Farm Perched in the Clouds

Sheng-Li Farm sits roughly 1,250 meters above sea level on the Xiding ridge, part of the wider Alishan National Scenic Area in Chiayi's mountain interior. The farm's terraced tea gardens spill down the slope in neat green rows, framed by the folding ridgelines of the surrounding range.

The Sea of Clouds

Xiding is famed for its cloud sea displays, when moisture rising from the lowlands pools against the mountainside and spills over the ridge like a slow-motion waterfall of mist. The camera captures this ever-changing interplay between valley fog, drifting cloud banks, and the exposed peaks that rise above them.

A Village Framed by Ridgelines

Beyond the farm's own tea rows, the view opens onto the wider valley, where scattered rooftops and winding mountain roads trace the contours of the landscape. The camera periodically shifts its gaze across the property, offering visitors a rotating panorama of the farm, its neighboring hamlet, and the layered peaks of the Alishan range.
