Location and Geography

The province of Ávila is strategically located in the southern part of the autonomous community of Castile and León, bordering the provinces of Salamanca, Valladolid, Segovia, Madrid, Toledo, and Cáceres. Its territory spans from the majestic peaks of the Sierra de Gredos to the rolling plains of the Castilian plateau.

The province is distinguished by its extraordinary landscape diversity, which includes the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park with peaks exceeding 2,500 meters in altitude, numerous reservoirs and gorges of singular beauty.
