Yvonand Marina & Sailing Harbour
OnlineLook out over the marina at Yvonand, where rows of sailboats and motorboats rest in a sheltered basin on the shore of Lake Neuchâtel. Wooden pontoons stretch across the still water, while the wooded hills of the opposite bank frame the wide Swiss lakescape beyond the breakwater.

A Lakeside Marina on Lake Neuchâtel
This camera overlooks the small-craft harbour of Yvonand, a village on the eastern shore of Lake Neuchâtel, the largest lake lying entirely within Switzerland. Dozens of moored boats fill the protected basin, a typical scene of relaxed lakeside life in the canton of Vaud.
Boats, Pontoons & Breakwater
Floating timber pontoons and a curving breakwater shelter the moorings from the open water. Sailboats with bare masts, covered cabin cruisers and small dinghies sit side by side, their reflections shimmering across the mirror-like surface of the harbour.
The Three-Lakes Region
Yvonand sits within the scenic Three-Lakes Region (Pays des Trois-Lacs), a landscape of vineyards, reed beds and gentle Jura foothills. The far shore rises toward the wooded ridges that separate Lake Neuchâtel from the Swiss Plateau.
Visiting Yvonand
Known for one of the longest sandy beaches on the lake, Yvonand is a popular spot for swimming, sailing and lakeside walks. The marina is the heart of its boating community and a gateway to exploring the wider lake by water.
