A Sweeping View of the Serralada Litoral

This camera looks east-northeast from a hillside above Sant Fost de Campsentelles, taking in the forest-blanketed slopes of the Serralada Litoral, the coastal mountain range that separates the Vallès plain from the Mediterranean shore. Wave after wave of wooded ridges recedes toward the horizon.

Mediterranean Woodland

The slopes are cloaked in characteristic Mediterranean forest — holm oak, pine and dense scrub typical of Catalonia's littoral hills. This protected green corridor forms part of the natural belt ringing the Barcelona metropolitan area.

A Weather-Watcher's Window

Run by Meteo Sant Fost, the camera dedicates much of its frame to an open expanse of sky, making it a useful vantage for following cloud formations and the changing light over the range. A burned-in clock confirms the live feed.

Sant Fost de Campsentelles sits in the Vallès Oriental comarca, a short drive from Barcelona. The surrounding hills are laced with hiking and cycling trails popular with locals exploring the Serralada de Marina park.
