This camera looks directly down into the nest of a White Stork (Ciconia ciconia), a towering platform of interwoven sticks and branches built on a rooftop in Carboneros. White Storks are famous for nesting on human structures — church towers, chimneys and power pylons — and for returning to the same nest across many breeding seasons, enlarging it until it becomes a massive, unmistakable landmark.

The Village of Carboneros
