A Mountain Road Through the Yabu Highlands

This camera follows the Sekinomiya-Ojiro prefectural route as it threads through one of the more remote corners of northern Hyogo. The two-lane road curves along a narrow valley floor, flanked by steep, densely wooded slopes that climb toward the surrounding ridgelines.

A Rural Japanese Valley

Below the road, a scattering of traditional houses and small cultivated plots marks the hamlet of Todoroki. A mountain stream runs alongside the carriageway, and utility poles trace the road's path deeper into the highlands.
