The Technik Museum Speyer is one of the largest privately run technology museums in Europe, displaying hundreds of aircraft, automobiles, locomotives and maritime exhibits across vast indoor halls and open-air grounds. The Iconic Walk-Through Boeing 747

Dominating the scene is a genuine Lufthansa Boeing 747, raised on steel pylons so visitors can walk through its fuselage and out onto the wing. Around it sit classic airliners, including a vintage Lufthansa propliner, making the foreground a remarkable open-air gallery of aviation history.

Submarine U9, the Antonov AN-22 and Military Jets

The collection also features the German submarine U9 and the colossal Soviet Antonov AN-22 transport aircraft, alongside a lineup of Cold War-era military jets such as the F-104 Starfighter and F-4 Phantom. Together they make the grounds a compact showcase of twentieth-century engineering.
