Everything you need to know about this live stream
The Grand Canyon Express Lift
The camera frames the base terminal of the Grand Canyon Express, a high-speed chairlift that carries visitors up the slopes of Arizona Snowbowl. From the upper terrain, riders can glimpse the distant rim of the Grand Canyon roughly 70 miles to the north.
San Francisco Peaks
The resort sits on the western flank of the San Francisco Peaks, the highest mountain range in the state. Humphreys Peak, the tallest summit, rises just above the ski terrain, giving the scene a dramatic alpine backdrop of volcanic ridgelines.
A Mountain for All Seasons
While the resort is best known for skiing and snowboarding, the same slopes open in the warmer months for scenic chairlift rides, hiking, and mountain biking. The forested runs shift from white winter snow to green summer meadows.
Above Flagstaff
Arizona Snowbowl lies a short drive from Flagstaff, a high-country college town on historic Route 66. The surrounding Coconino National Forest wraps the peaks in one of the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forests on Earth.
