This 'Skycolor' camera is dedicated to the ever-shifting sky above central Tokyo. Mounted high in Nishiazabu, it frames an enormous stretch of atmosphere over the city, making it a window onto cloudscapes, light and the slow drama of the heavens above one of the world's largest urban regions.

Below the sky stretches a panorama of skyscrapers running from the Aoyama district outward across Minato City. On a clear horizon the distant towers of Shinjuku and other business districts rise from the dense urban fabric, while a band of green parkland softens the foreground.

The vantage sits within Nishiazabu, an upscale quarter of Minato City known for its refined dining and proximity to Roppongi and Aoyama. The surrounding streets form one of Tokyo's most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods.
