A Window onto Tokyo Bay

This camera is mounted at the Shinonome Teikei coastal base, on the reclaimed islands of eastern Koto, and offers an uninterrupted line of sight across Tokyo Bay. The view captures the broad sweep of water that has shaped the city's growth, with the man-made waterfront stretching to the horizon.

The Ariake & Odaiba Waterfront

Beyond the bay rise the towers and exhibition halls of the Ariake and Odaiba districts, the city's flagship waterfront development. Cranes, convention centres and bayside high-rises form a constantly evolving skyline of modern architecture and reclaimed land.

A Working Harbour

In the foreground, the quays and gantries of one of the world's busiest ports frame the scene. Container terminals, breakwaters and service vessels trace the edge of the bay, a reminder of the maritime trade that flows continuously through this working waterfront.

A Weather Lookout over the Metropolis

Operated as a public sky and weather camera, this vantage offers a wide, open view of conditions rolling across the bay toward central Tokyo Bay. It is a panoramic reading of one of the planet's largest urban waterfronts.
