The Sea Isle City Promenade

Unlike the wooden boardwalks of its neighbours, Sea Isle's Promenade is a wide, paved oceanfront walkway stretching roughly 1.5 miles from 29th to 57th Street. Built after the 1962 nor'easter destroyed the original wooden boardwalk, it is now the town's social spine for walking, jogging, and cycling above the dunes.

In the foreground, a belt of grassy dunes shelters the wide, clean sand from the wind, while the Atlantic surf rolls in beyond. This stretch by 34th Street sits a little south of the lively Excursion Park core, offering a quieter, more residential beach panorama.
