The Iconic Morro do Careca

Dominating the southern end of the bay, the Morro do Careca is a colossal sand dune framed by dense Atlantic Forest on either flank. Standing over one hundred metres tall, it is one of the most photographed natural landmarks in northeastern Brazil and gives the whole view its instantly recognisable silhouette.
