The Ponquogue Bridge
The Ponquogue Bridge carries Foster Avenue over Shinnecock Bay, linking the village of Hampton Bays with the barrier beach of Dune Road. Its long, gentle span is one of the most recognisable coastal landmarks on the eastern shore of Long Island.
Shinnecock Bay & the Shoreline
Beyond the bridge stretch the sheltered tidal flats of Shinnecock Bay, a shallow lagoon prized by anglers, kayakers and sailors. The camera frames the marina-side waters, the surrounding salt marsh and the boats that work this protected inlet.
