The Nubble Lighthouse, officially the Cape Neddick Light Station, rises from a small rocky islet just off the coast of York, Maine. Its gleaming white tower and distinctive red-roofed keeper's dwelling form one of the most photographed scenes on the New England seaboard.

A Historic Coastal Sentinel

Built in 1879 and still in active service, the lighthouse guards the entrance to York Harbor from atop its steep granite outcrop. The station remains one of the last in Maine to keep its original Fresnel lens and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
