MacArthur Bridge and the Lesperance Yard

Built in the early twentieth century, the MacArthur Bridge carries Union Pacific traffic into the adjoining Lesperance Yard, where cars are staged, sorted, and pushed up the span's steep grade by TRRA locomotives.

A Steady Stream of Freight and Passenger Trains

Roughly thirty Union Pacific trains and regular Amtrak passenger service pass through the corridor each day, giving the view a constantly shifting cast of rolling stock.
