A Second Eyrie at Loch Arkaig
Several kilometres from the reserve's other nest camera, this second osprey eyrie sits high in the Caledonian pines above Loch Arkaig, giving viewers a parallel window onto the forest's breeding ospreys.
Louis and Dorcha's Story
Louis relocated to this nest in 2021 and has raised broods here with his mate Dorcha ever since, making this camera one of the longest-running chapters in the Loch Arkaig osprey story.
A Forest Alive with Wildlife
The surrounding Caledonian pinewood, cared for by the Woodland Trust, also shelters red squirrels, pine martens and capercaillie, framing the nest within a wider Highland wilderness.
Watching Every Stage
From nest repairs to incubation and fledging, the camera offers an intimate, continuous view of the pair's breeding cycle above the pine canopy and loch beyond.
