A Grand Victorian Seafront
Stretching in a gentle arc, North Parade forms part of Llandudno's famous two-kilometre promenade, lined with stately Victorian hotels and guesthouses. Known as the "Queen of the Welsh Resorts", the town has welcomed visitors strolling this seafront since the 1850s.
The Sweep of the Bay
The camera captures the broad Llandudno Bay, a sheltered crescent of shingle and sand bracketed by two limestone headlands. To the east the Little Orme rises above the rooftops, while the imposing Great Orme guards the bay's western edge.
Landmarks Along the Shore
In the foreground a Ferris wheel and an ornate bandstand mark the heart of the resort, with the historic Llandudno Pier reaching out over the water nearby. Colourful gardens and a busy coastal roundabout complete the lively scene.
A Living Seaside Resort
Beyond its scenic beauty, Llandudno remains a working holiday town in Conwy, north Wales. The view offers an ever-changing portrait of coastal life, from passing walkers to the tides of the Irish Sea.
