A Historic Woodland Retreat

Stretching along Ashland Creek, Lithia Park is one of Oregon's finest public parks, designed in the early 20th century by John McLaren, the landscape architect behind San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Its 93 acres of forest, meadows and ponds form a cherished sanctuary at the edge of downtown.

The Park Entrance

This camera overlooks the leafy gateway where the plaza gives way to the park's tree-canopied paths. Visitors, joggers and families pass beneath towering firs and sycamores on their way to the creekside trails and gardens beyond.
