A Wide-Angle View West Along the Corridor
This camera is mounted on the west side of the Lake Shore Railway Museum grounds, framing the parallel CSX and Norfolk Southern mainlines as they sweep through North East, Pennsylvania. Its broad, fisheye field of view takes in the full width of the yard alongside a historic freight warehouse.
A Companion to the Museum's East Camera
Paired with the museum's east-facing feed, this view completes a two-camera watch over the same stretch of track, letting viewers follow a train as it approaches from one direction and continues past the other. Together they cover the full length of the museum's trackside frontage.
Part of a Busy Great Lakes Freight Artery
Between 40 and 60 trains pass this stretch of track on a typical day, carrying intermodal and mixed-freight consists along one of the busiest rail corridors in the northeastern United States.
Maintained by the Railway Historical Society
The feed is run by the Lake Shore Railway Historical Society, the same group that preserves the museum's vintage locomotives and rolling stock, and doubles as a resource for the local scanner and railfan community tracking approaching trains.
