This fixed south-facing camera sits on La Grange's Main Street, where CSX Transportation freight trains roll directly along the pavement in one of the few remaining American towns with an active street-running railroad. The Louisville, Cincinnati & Lexington corridor, later absorbed into the L&N "Short Line," still carries dozens of trains through downtown every day.
