Weeping willows lean low over this quiet stretch of water within the Klekusiowo grounds, their branches brushing the surface as reflections of the surrounding oak and alder canopy ripple gently below. The pond forms a natural, undisturbed corner of the property, its still water bordered by dense reeds and overhanging foliage.

Part of Klekusiowo's Rescue Network

This is one of several cameras the Klekusiowo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre maintains across its property, each trained on a different enclosure or natural feature. The centre, based in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, cares for storks, roe deer, servals, raccoons and countless other wild animals brought to its care.

The pond's calm banks and thick vegetation make it an inviting spot for waterfowl and other visiting wildlife, offering a natural extension of the sanctuary's rehabilitation grounds. The dense willow cover provides shelter and shade along the shoreline year-round.
