About the Rescue Room

This camera looks into the FeLV (feline leukemia) kitten room, a dedicated indoor space where medically vulnerable cats and kittens live together in comfort. The room is filled with cat trees, scratching posts, tunnels and soft bedding so every resident can play, rest and socialize while awaiting adoption.

What You'll See

Expect a constantly changing cast of feline characters — a black cat curled by the scratching post, kittens chasing toys across the floor, or a sleepy resident stretched out on the cushioned futon. Glass doors and a small pet door connect the room to adjoining enclosures, giving the cats room to roam.

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge

The room is part of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge near Eureka Springs, Arkansas — a non-profit sanctuary best known for rescuing lions, tigers and other big cats. Alongside its famous large carnivores, the refuge also cares for domestic cats in need, including those living with chronic conditions.
