Kermorvan Lighthouse Sea Channel
OnlineLooking out from the Kermorvan Lighthouse, this live camera frames the open Atlantic waters that guard the entrance to Le Conquet, on the westernmost tip of Brittany. Red navigation buoys ride the restless swell while ferries and fishing vessels trace the busy channel out toward the islands of Ouessant and Molène. It is a raw, oceanic corner of France's Atlantic frontier.

Everything you need to know about this live stream
The Kermorvan Lighthouse
Marking the western approach to Le Conquet, the Phare de Kermorvan stands on a slender granite peninsula at the very edge of continental France. Built in the mid-nineteenth century, its slim white tower has long guided sailors through one of the most treacherous stretches of the Brittany coast.
A Busy Maritime Channel
The camera overlooks the Chenal du Four, a strategic seaway where powerful tidal currents funnel between the mainland and the offshore islands. Ferries, cargo ships and fishing boats pass continuously, threaded between the red and green navigation buoys that mark the safe route.
Gateway to the Islands
From the small port of Le Conquet, regular boats depart for the wild islands of Ouessant and Molène, part of the Iroise marine nature park. The view captures this constant coming and going at the threshold of the open Atlantic.
Westernmost Brittany
This is the Finistère coast — literally the "end of the earth" — where the Pointe de Kermorvan reaches farther west than anywhere else in mainland France. The seascape is rugged and ever-changing, shaped by the relentless swell of the Atlantic.
