A Surviving Coastal Forces Gunboat

MGB 81 is one of the last seaworthy British Motor Gun Boats, the fast, lightly armed craft that patrolled the English Channel during the Second World War. Built in 1942, the wooden-hulled vessel is now preserved as part of the national naval heritage collection and is captured here at her berth.

The Gosport Waterfront
