A Village Green on Main Street

Below the steeple, a broad lawn and shaded walkway link the church to the boutique storefronts of Harbor Springs' historic business district. The tree-lined green is a natural gathering point for this compact resort village on the shore of Little Traverse Bay.

Twice a week during the growing season, the lawn fills with the colorful tents of the Harbor Springs Farmers Market, where area growers and artisans sell produce, flowers, and handmade goods beneath the church tower — a long-running community tradition of this close-knit Northern Michigan town.
