A Heritage Railway Landmark
The Spa Valley Railway is a five-mile heritage line connecting Royal Tunbridge Wells with the village of Groombridge, straddling the border of Kent and East Sussex in southeast England. This camera is fixed on Groombridge station, one of the line's principal stops.
Steam and Diesel Heritage in Motion
Volunteers and enthusiasts keep a fleet of preserved steam and diesel locomotives running along the original Victorian-era trackbed. The view takes in the platform, signal box, and sidings where trains pause before continuing their journey.
A Village Shaped by the Railway
Groombridge grew around this Victorian junction, and the station remains the heart of the community's railway heritage, kept running entirely by a dedicated charitable trust.
