A Storied Approach
This narrow lane forms the traditional pedestrian approach to Ginkaku-ji, the Temple of the Silver Pavilion, one of Kyoto's most celebrated Zen Buddhist sites and part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto UNESCO World Heritage ensemble.
