A Storied Oceanfront Links
The Victoria Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in North America still on its original site, laid out on a rocky peninsula reaching into the sea. From the fourth tee the playing corridor runs alongside the water, exposed to the maritime breeze and shifting light that define seaside golf.
The Shoreline Setting
Beyond the closely mown turf, the Strait of Juan de Fuca opens toward distant headlands and passing vessels. Rugged rock outcrops, tidal shallows and stands of arbutus and pine give the course its distinctive coastal character throughout the round.
Golf and Wildlife
The property is a haven for coastal birds and marine life, with the occasional seal or eagle appearing along the water's edge. Players and spectators share a landscape where championship golf and a living shoreline ecosystem meet.
