Built from an accumulation of sticks, twigs, and greenery gathered over successive nesting cycles, the nest sits high enough to give its occupants a commanding view of the surrounding farmland and tidal creeks near Buzzards Bay.

A Resident Raptor Pair

Ospreys, sometimes called fish hawks, are among the most widespread birds of prey along the North American coastline. This particular pair has claimed the platform as their own, engaging in the courtship displays, nest maintenance, and cooperative parenting that define the species' breeding behavior.
