East Beach on Semiahmoo Bay

This live webcam overlooks East Beach, the quieter eastern stretch of the White Rock waterfront in coastal British Columbia. Operated by the City of White Rock, the camera frames Semiahmoo Bay as it opens toward the sheltered waters of Boundary Bay and the Salish Sea.

Vast Tidal Flats and Sandbars

At low tide the bay withdraws nearly a kilometre, exposing immense flats of rippled sand threaded with shallow channels and tide pools — a gentle, family-friendly shoreline prized by beachcombers and birdwatchers alike.

The White Rock Promenade

Just behind the camera runs the White Rock Promenade, a beloved seaside walkway linking East Beach with the town's historic pier — one of the longest in Canada — and the white glacial boulder that gives the city its name.
