The Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse is one of the oldest surviving lighthouses on Lake Ontario, an octagonal stone tower that has guided mariners into the Genesee River since the early nineteenth century. Today it anchors a museum and park, a cherished landmark of Rochester's Charlotte neighborhood.
