A Sheltered Adriatic Cove

The camera looks out over Sunčana uvala at Borik, a sheltered inlet on the western shore of Mali Lošinj. Smooth limestone slabs step down to water so clear that the pebbled seabed is visible far from shore.

Swimming & Sunbathing

Flat rock terraces and a small pebble strand make this a popular bathing spot, dotted with sun loungers and parasols. Swimmers and snorkelers explore the shallow, gently shelving water of the bay throughout the bathing season.

Island of Lošinj

Part of the Cres-Lošinj archipelago in the Kvarner Gulf, Lošinj is renowned for its fragrant pine forests and exceptionally clean sea. The island's mild climate has made Mali Lošinj a celebrated health and seaside resort for over a century.

On the Horizon

Beyond the cove, the open Adriatic stretches toward neighbouring islets, with small boats and excursion craft crossing the channel. The Kvarner waters here are a noted habitat for resident bottlenose dolphins.
