Bonnie and Clyde are a bonded pair of Great Horned Owls that have made this towering cottonwood their home across many breeding seasons. Famed for their piercing yellow eyes and distinctive ear tufts, these powerful raptors are among the most adaptable birds of prey in North America.

A Repurposed Eagle Nest

The platform sits roughly forty feet high and was originally built by a pair of Bald Eagles. The owls took it over and have raised numerous owlets here, each year bringing a new chapter to the nest's long lineage.
