Blessed Virgin Mary Church Sanctuary

A Modern Marian Sanctuary

The view centres on the presbytery of the parish church dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. A curved white wall carries a large golden-crowned mosaic of the Madonna and Child, framed by slender candelabra and flanking stained-glass panels that give the space its distinctive contemporary character.

The Altar and Font

At the heart of the raised marble platform stands a circular baptismal font and the main altar, set on polished stone steps and dressed with living greenery. Wooden pews and the tabernacle complete a sanctuary arranged for the full rhythm of parish liturgy.

The Oratorian (Filipini) Parish

The community is served by the Congregation of the Oratory of St Philip Neri, known in Poland as the Filipini. Their church sits in Wilda, one of Poznań's oldest residential districts on the west bank of the Warta, a short distance from the city centre.
