OnlineThis pan-tilt-zoom camera overlooks the all-weather smash-court tennis courts of Tennisvereniging Be Fair at the De Buitenhof sports park in Waddinxveen. The terracotta-red playing surface, taut nets and crisp line markings stretch across a tree-lined complex used by roughly 600 members. It is a quintessentially Dutch grassroots tennis venue, founded back in 1963.

The Camera View
The pan-tilt-zoom camera sweeps automatically across the outdoor courts of the De Buitenhof park, framing the terracotta-red playing area, the white nets and the advertising boards that line the perimeter. After playing hours it pivots toward the entrance gate to keep watch, giving the feed a constant, watchful view of the grounds.
Tennisvereniging Be Fair
Founded in 1963, Be Fair is one of the larger clubs in the region, with around 600 members and a lively volunteer community. The club takes its name from the fair-play ethos it promotes, and its De Buitenhof grounds host both casual and competitive play.
All-Weather Smash Courts
The complex offers ten smash-court outdoor courts, resurfaced in 2006 with an all-weather layer that drains quickly and stays playable year-round. Each court carries its own lighting installation, so members can keep long rallies going under the lights.
Visiting Waddinxveen
The courts sit in Waddinxveen, a green commuter town in the South Holland heartland between Gouda and the Randstad. The De Buitenhof park pairs tennis with a clubhouse and social facilities, anchoring the everyday sporting life of the surrounding neighbourhood.
